Okay folks those of you who attended Rougham Tower near Bury St Edmunds last year may remember Viv from the Chatteris group who came along that night, well she is now returning the favour by inviting us to some events they have planned. She would like to do Castle Rising of course and wants to know if anyone from WNGHC wants to come along (again) to make up numbers/keep the cost down, let me know if you are interested for now. Also this year she will be visiting Kelveden Hatch, Secret Bunker in Essex. The Dog in the Doublet, Whittlesey. But for now we need names for the Old Ferry Boat Inn, Holywell, St Ives. This pub has a "replay haunting" every year and the investigation will take place after closing time on 17th March until about 5am, get back to me if interested. I will keep you updated as more info emerges. CS
ok folks when do you fancy the Tudor Rose investigation event, got a price from Charles for evening event with 6 staying in room 7 after closing time plus brekkie next day. Let me know your availability please. CS

Update
The investigation in Folkestone is now booked with the owners and confirmed for Friday 3rd and Sat 4th Feb.
Okay good people who's up for this one! We have the chance to investigate the Martello tower in Folkestone that I have stayed in previously before the owners move back in! The cost will be £35 per night Monday to Thursday and £45 per night each for Friday to Sunday, with a minimum booking of 2 nights. There is a maximum of 6 people allowed but if more wish to come then we can book extra nights and have a changeover of people! We need to get this in before end of February (the sooner the better for me!) so could you get back to me asap if interested saying what day of the week you prefer and any dates before the end of Feb you cannot make and I will try to accomodate as best as poss!
Here are some pics of the venue, the first time I stayed there (just before Christmas 2010) I heard loud footsteps on the wooden floor above my bedroom! The owner says that many guests have reported strange happenings too. This is a really unusual venue to investigate and may not be available again!
In the new year we will be investigating the Green Quay visitors centre in King's Lynn, I am just awaiting a price from the management. Thanks to John for getting us into this venue.
